Riverside Medical is part of the Primary Care Network. Our Primary Care Nurse can provide the following services when available:

  • Foot Care
  • Ear Flushing
  • Prenatal Checks
  • Cognitive Testing
  • Chronic Disease Management

Wellness Coordinator, Patrick, is also available one day per month for wellness and dietary support.

Riverside Medical provides prenatal care starting with preconception counselling, prenatal appointments and postpartum follow-ups. Our physician, Dr. Veronique Ram, also performs low-risk obstetrical deliveries for Riverside Medical patients.

Pediatric Health

Contraception and IUD Insertion
Our physicians offer contraceptive advice and IUD insertions. Prior to any procedure, we require a consult to discuss which for of IUD best suits your needs and review the process of insertion. We then provide you with a prescription to take to your pharmacy for pick-up prior to your insertion appointment. We do require a urine sample prior to the insertion to rule-out a pregnancy. Weight Management
We at Riverside Medical want to help our patients with all their health goals, which may include weight management planning and strategies. Please consider bringing in a 24-hour food diary and a summary of your physical activities for us to review and help us better serve you.

Menopause Counseling
We at Riverside Medical want to provide all our patients with the best support during menopause. Our clinic offers individualized plans to manage symptoms that may be easily managed in-house or require a referral to a specialist. Together we will help you through this journey.

Are you taking new patients?

Riverside Medical is not accepting new patients at this time, but we do have a waitlist available. Please call the clinic at 403-823-5000 to be placed on the waitlist.

Is it possible to get a same day appointment?

Yes. Unless Dr. Ram is out of town, we offer same day appointments after 9:00 a.m. Monday to Friday.

Can I book a meet and greet appointment before formally transferring my file?

Of course! We understand that patients want to ensure that a physician is a good fit for their goals and values. Booking a meet and greet appointment is a reasonable request and strongly encouraged. This will also provide us with an opportunity to relay our practice philosophies and introduce you to our outstanding staff.
