Jaclyn Anderson is completing her final year of medical school, with an extended rural clerkship placement in Drumheller. She is working with the team at RMI clinic and at Drumheller Health Centre until next spring, when she will return to Calgary to graduate with her peers in the MD Class of 2024.

She completed her BSc (First Class, Honours) in Anthropology. Her thesis focused on infertility in primates, and sparked her strong interest in women’s health, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Jaclyn was born and raised on a cattle and grain farm in central Alberta. After living in Calgary for the past 7 years, she is thrilled to be living rural again. When she isn’t working, she can be found hiking the badlands with her Aussie Shepherd pup.
