I graduated in 1991 as a Licenced Practical Nurse from Sheridan College, Oakville Ontario with a lifelong passion to help and educate people in need. My experience working in many nursing positions while raising my four girls gave me the knowledge and the opportunity to have a career doing something I really enjoy, and I could always learn more. Any nurse can push pills, take someone’s BP’s or write up a Care plan but I wanted more so specializing in would care for the last 12 years excited me. Infusion therapy involved IV, PICC or Port. Pleurx and JP drains, ostomy, burns, fractures and multiple tissue impairment diseases and wounds. The list has become to long for me to note here but I would like to include that I am very thankful to be given the opportunity to continue my nursing career working with excellent staff and Doctors at Riverside Medical.
