I'm a second-year family medicine resident at the University of Calgary. I was born in raised in St. John's, Newfoundland where I completed an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry followed by medical school. I then made the move to Calgary with my partner and my dog and fell in love with the city and the mountains. I have a special interest in hospital medicine, palliative care, and care of the elderly. I'm super excited to be completing an extra year of training in palliative care when I graduate. I love to spend extra time with my patients to find out what truly matters most to them and how I can enhance their quality of life. In my free time, I love to read, hike or bike in the mountains and spend time with my friends on a sunny patio. I'm so happy to be at Riverside Medical for 2 months to get to know the patient population and provide compassionate and comprehensive care.
