The story of Riverside Value Drug Mart starts in 1975 when Paul and Pat Ainscough moved to Drumheller to open a pharmacy together. Paul dreamed of opening a successful Pharmacy that offered, to its customers, the opportunity to be treated with such exceptional customer service that they would feel like part of his extended family. Forty plus years later Paul and Pat have retired and passed the store on to their son, Raymond Ainscough.

In 1992, their son, Ray Ainscough, graduated university with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and began his journey to own and run the family business. Today, with the help of his sister, Martina Morrison, and the support of his loving family, wife Deanna and three children, Dayton, Karyna and Mya, Ray has succeeded in growing the business while maintaining the utmost levels of service to his customers. With the opening of his secondary pharmacy, Peoples Pharmacy, Ray and his staff will continue to provide customers and the community with the high standards and exceptional service they have come to expect from Riverside Value Drug Mart.
